Is anyone interested in participating in a focus group?

Here's the deal:
1. You must live in Norman, South OKC, or Moore.
2. It will take place April 25th, 6:30 pm at MN Technology Center South Penn Campus (13301 S. Penn) for 1.5 hours
3. You get paid $50!

If you're not familiar with what a focus group is it is basically giving people your opinion on whatever it is that is being researched or tested. I think this one is for a web site.

Please call Alan at 694-1024 if you are interested or leave your name and number and I will have someone contact you. There are only 3 participants required per age group so act fast if you want in on this.

GOGO!
So we ended up getting our puppy (shih tzu) yesterday evening! She is about 7 weeks old. We brought her home and she just slept and slept and slept.
We showed her where her food and water was. Where the pee pad was. Let her sniff around. We have all wood (bamboo) floors so she really loved our shaggy area rug.
So... around 9:30 I went to bed and I let her lie in the bed with me until about 10:30. I put her in her bed beside my bed and she slept until 12:30 (right about when my husband came to bed). She woke up and was ready to cry. She cried on the floor. She cried in our bed. So my husband took her back out to the living room and she fell fast asleep on the couch. Around 2:30am I went and got them and put her back in her doggy bed (by now I put it in a crate). She slept until 4:30 and woke up crying. I left the door open to the crate but she wouldn't get out on her own. I picked her up once she was crying so hard I thought she was going to die. I let her lay in the bed with us and she wanted to play but I coaxed her into sleeping some more.
At 6:30 I woke up and she was standing on Travis' chest dryheaving (she tried to poop on him earlier that evening too-haha). She had also dryheaved around midnight too. I hope it's just stress and she's not ill.
I could hear her tummy growling so I took her to the kitchen so she could eat. She ate a nice amount of puppy food. I have to be at work by 8:30 so Travis and I just stayed awake with her until I left. She's been crying off and on and I just hold her and tell her it'll be okay- I'm sure she misses her doggie family and the family that has had her until now.
She's had a few accidents and has only made it on her pee pad once. Every time we see her go somewhere else we pick her up and show her the pee pad. Of course we don't get mad at her because she's so little and doesn't know any better.
I showed her the grass outside this morning but she didn't pee there.

Here's the part that concerns Travis and I: She won't drink any water at all. I don't know if this is normal or not but she wants nothing to do with it. I even tried a few different bowls, tried putting water on my finger so she could lick it off- nothing. And then with the whole dryheaving thing- I think I might call the vet just to ask if it's normal.

I hope I did everything right for the first night. I just went with my instincts as far as holding her when she cries and how long to let her cry, etc. Tonight I'm going to keep her up playing until we go to bed.

Sorry I don't have any pictures! I will post some tomorrow.
cross posted in lhasa-shihtzu

I'm really really really wanting a dog.
I want a chill little lap dog with long hair. Like a shih tzu or maltese or lhasa. But I really want to get a pound puppy (or toddler). Last resort is buying one. And then with buying one you hear all these horror stories about over bread dogs. This is so hard.
I don't even know how to go about it.
I wish it was like when I was 6 and my dad just brought a cute little dog that happened to be my soul mate home one day.
